Be part of a Spanish family and learn about the customs, culture and way of life in Spain, whilst perfecting your skills in the Spanish language.

Au Pair Characteristics:
- Between 17 and 30 years old.
- Maximum stay of one year, though it may be possible to extend this to two.
- Tasks will consist of helping with the children and household chores, such as hovering, making beds, and dusting, for 5 days per week, and babysitting duties at least two evenings per week.
- Accommodation and maintenance will be provided by the family. Wherever possible, the au pair will have his/her own room.
- The au pair will have the opportunity to attend language classes.
- At least one full day off per week.
- Pocket money will be approximately 60 € per week.

We would like to emphasise that the au pair will behave and be treated as another member of the family, and will be part of all family activities.

Process:
Once we have received your application, we will start looking for a family which best suits your profile. We will then send you a list of options for you to choose the one you like best. On the day of your arrival, we will have a meeting, in which we will provide you with a folder of information about the area, transport timetables, activities, etc...

Registration:
- Language level test.
- Application form.
- Photocopy of passport.
- 2 passport-size photographs.
- Medical certificate issued within the last 3 months.
- Criminal record certificate.
- Photocopy of driving license (if you have one).
- Two letters of reference.
- A letter to the Spanish family introducing yourself, with information about your likes and hobbies, and what you expect to gain from your stay in Spain. Try to write your letter in Spanish, or in English or your native language if you don't know enough Spanish.
- Two photos of yourself with children.

Method of payment:
25% of this is to be paid upon application, and the remaining 75% will be payable once everything has been confirmed.

THIS INCLUDES:
- Locating a suitable family.
- Meet and greet upon arrival at the airport.
- A folder with a complete range of information on the area, transport, doctors, activities.
- Assistance throughout the whole stay.
- 24 h emergency telephone number.
